It is said that the goddess was brought from West Bengal to Himachal Pradesh when the Maharaj Bhupendra Singh had the dream of the Goddess along with Hanuman and expressed her wish to come to Himachal Pradesh. The Maharaj donated the land to build this beautiful temple. This is how the Goddess was introduced to the people of Himachal Pradesh. The temple which is currently in the Tarav Parvat has an idol which is made from 8 elements. This is also known as astadhatu. The history of this temple and the reason due to which it was built is the most unique thing.

    This is a peaceful place where you can spend quality time with family and friends. In the surroundings, you can see some amazing mountains. You can also get to catch a glimpse of the lovely pine forests. The temple is a must visit the place during the festival season when several devotees throng the temple.
