    The Calvary temple/church is the largest church in India and by extension also the largest is Asia. The Calvary temple was founded by a Christian Indian called Bro. Satish Kumar who preaches the word of God in the church. MR Kumar started the church with only a small group of people in the year 2005 at a place called Kukatpally, Hydrebad, India. The building of Calvary Temple/Church took just about 52 days to complete.

    The temple has also has it downs when a single judge passed orders requiring the temple be brought down in 15 days. The church’s founder MR Satish Kumar however successfully moved two appeals that saw the court of appeal overturn the single judge’s ruling. The cavalry temple is visited by thousands of worshipers every Sunday something that makes it be the biggest church in India.
