The Lord Venkateswara temple is considered to be among the richest temples in the world. it remains the most visited temple by people of the Hindu religion. It is located on the seventh hill of the Tirupati hills and lies just at the southern banks of Sri Swami Pushkarini. The temple is built on a Dravidian style of architecture and it showcases neatly carved doorways and shrines. Hindu mythology says that during the Vijayanagar Kingdom so much gold was donated for the temple’s decoration. This gold was used to make the inner shrine of the temple and its roof was also plated with the gold.

The temple’s main door that is called the Padi Kavali Maha Dwara has a quadrangular base. While inside the temple you will be able to see a number of gods like Vaishnava, Lakshmi Narasimha, and Hunaman. The main deity Lord Venkateswara can be seen inside the temple standing directly under a Glit dome called the Ananda Nilaya Divya Vimana. Lord Venkateswara is believed to be self-manifested by people of the Hindu religion. This temple is adorned with exquisitely carved gold something that will perplex any visitor here. This is why it remains the second richest Hindu Temple in world!
