    Raj Bhawan is the Governor’s House of Uttrakhand situated in Nainital. It serves as a summer retreat of the Governor of Uttrakhand. The construction of this edifice, built in the style of a Scottish castle, started in 1897 and it took two years for the building to be completed. In the pre-independence era, Nainital was the summer capital of the United Province and this building served as the Government House. 

    The Raj Bhawan has 75 rooms and is spread over 205 acres of are with 45 acres dedicated to the Golf Course.
