Located on the south bank of Charles River Basin, the esplanade is a state-owned park in Boston. The park contains walkways, statutory, the Hatch Memorial Shell performance stage, playground, ball fields, and Community Boating. The esplanade went through an expansion between 1928 to 1936, which resulted in widening and lengthening of the parkland.
Paths running through the entire esplanade make it a glorious place for joggers and walkers. You can also skate, rollerblade, and bike in the park.
