Established in 1830 with the name of Boston Society of Natural History by seven men interested in natural history, the organisation came into existence for the purpose of collecting and studying natural history elements. The museum has now come to be known as the Museum of Science worldwide. It is one of the world’s largest science centres and Boston’s most attended cultural institution.
