The Ridge road is the central portion of Shimla. It is a huge open area, regarded as the cultural hub of Shimla. The Road is situated near the Mall Road, which happens to be a popular shopping center in the city. Interestingly, the Ridge is connected to some of the major places destinations, namely Snowdon, Jakhoo hill, Mall, to name a few. Most tourists prefer visiting the place during summers as the temperature around this time becomes extremely pleasant. If you wish to see snow, winters can be the perfect time for you. However, the chilling environment during the winters would restrict you from having fun. The Ridge also houses some of the famous landmarks. It includes a neo-Gothic Church originating during 1844.
