An artificial lake located in the heart of Udaipur, Rajasthan, Lake Pichola is the oldest and one of the largest lakes of the city. If you are visiting Lake Pichola at dawn, you must take a boat ride in order to experience the romanticism this place has to offer.
The Lake was built by Picchu Banjara in 1262 AD, which makes it a historically and culturally rich site. The Lake was so mesmerising that Maharana Udai Singh expanded it and constructed a dam on the shores.
